continued to the extent that the powers contained in such
laws have not heretofore been exercised, cancelled,
rescinded or repealed, and nothing contained in such
sections shall be construed to impair, in any way
whatsoever, the validity of any bonds which may have been
issued by the board of trustees of the State colleges.

REVISOR'S NOTE: These §§ 12A through 12J are identical
to Art. 77A, §12A through 12J.

They are transferred to the Session Laws for the
reasons stated in the General Revisor's Note to
Title 14 of the Education Article.

They are placed under a subtitle for ease of
identification.

It should be noted that the name of "The Board of
Trustees of the State Colleges" referred to in
the sections is now "The Board of Trustees of the
State Universities and Colleges".

Art. 77A, §§ 13 through 13J, which dealt with
bonds to finance a student union at Towson State
University are repealed. Since the union has
been constructed and was financed under Art. 77A,
§§ 12A through 12J, no bonds have been or will be
issued under §§ 13 through 13J.

14B. Housing facilities of St. Mary's College of
Maryland—Definitions.

As used in §§ 14B-14K, inclusive, in this subtitle, the
following words and terms shall have the following meaning,
unless the context shall indicate another different meaning
or intent: (1) The word "resolution" shall mean resolution
adopted by a majority of the members of the board of
trustees of St. Mary's College of Maryland; (2) the word
"costs" as applied to any project shall embrace the cost of
construction, the cost of the acquisition of all land,
rights—of—way, property rights, easements and interests
acquired by the board of trustees of St. Mary's College of
Maryland for such construction, the cost of all machinery
and equipment, financing charges, interest prior to and
during construction and for one year after completion of
construction, the cost of engineering and legal expenses,
plans, specifications, surveys, estimates of costs and
revenue, other expenses necessary or incident to determining
the feasibility or practicability of construction of any
project, administrative expenses, and such other expense as
may be necessary or incident to the construction of any
project, the financing of such construction and the placing
of any such project in operation. Any obligation or
expense heretofore or hereafter incurred by the said board
of trustees for preparation of plans and specifications, and
other engineering services in connection with the
