enact new Section 17—708 in lieu thereof to stand in
the place of the Section repealed; to levy and impose a
sales and use tax upon utilities, used by commercial
and industrial businesses, and upon residential,
commercial and industrial telephone service, (all
collectively commonly known as "utilities tax"); to
provide for the rate and collection of said tax; to
provide penalties for failure to comply with the
provisions thereof; and to provide generally for
matters relating to said tax.

Edition and Supplements), Title 1, "Administration",
Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article I, "Exempt Service",
to review certain pay positions and grades within the
Executive Pay Plan; and matters generally related
thereto.

re-enact, with amendments, Section 1—215(I)(E),
(IV)(D), (V)(A), and (B), and (VI) (A) of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements),
Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel",
Article II, "Classified Service", to change certain
positions from a thirty—five hour standard work week to
hours as required; and matters generally related
thereto.

AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to add new Sections 1-1100 through
1-1106, inclusive, to the Anne Arundel County Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1,
"Administration", to follow immediately after Section
1-1008 thereof and to be under the new Subtitle 11,
"Self-Insurance Fund", to establish a reserve fund to
insure the County, and other individuals or entities
for whom the County is required or chooses to maintain
