RESOLUTION: CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 3-77
ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR TOWN BORROWING
UNDER SECTION 46(7) OF THE GLENARDEN TOWN
CHARTER (BORROWING-CONSTRUCTION LOANS)

WHEREAS, the Town Council of Glenarden, Maryland in
regular session of February 14, 1977, passed a resolution to
amend Section 46 of the Glenarden Town Charter by adding
subsection (7) which gives the Council the power to borrow
money for the financing of capital improvements through the
issuance of one or more construction loan notes, and to
secure the payment of such note or notes by the giving of a
mortgage on the property as improved, but fails to prescribe
the manner in which this power is to be exercised, and the
Council deems the establishment of such procedures to be
necessary,

Prince George's County, added.
