In paragraph (3) of this subsection, the
reference to "on or after July 1, 1976" is
substituted for "in the future" for clarity.
This date was the effective date of Ch. 895, Acts
of 1976, which enacted this provision.

The only other changes are in style.

(D) RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD.

THE BOARD OF REGENTS    SHALL ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS

GOVERNING THE OPERATION       AND CONDUCT OF THE MORGAN STATE

UNIVERSITY POLICE FORCE      AND OF MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
POLICE OFFICERS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
the fourth sentence of Art. 77A, §82A (c).

The only changes are in style.

Present Art.        77A, §82A(d), which requires

observance and     compliance with these rules and

regulations, is    deleted as unnecessary and as

implicit in the power to adopt rules and
regulations.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE:

The provisions of Art. 77A, §7 1 and §§ 75 through 82,
which deal with the issuance of bonds by Morgan State
University are transferred to the Session Laws.

This transfer will not affect in any manner the power
of the University to issue these bonds or any of its other
powers under these statutes.

There is no reason to codify a revenue bond
authorization such as this. These statutes are seldom
consulted by the public, and only infrequently by those
concerned with bond transactions.

Most bond bills are found in the printed Session Laws,
not in the Code.

14-101. BOARD OF TRUSTEES — ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF STATE UNIVERSITIES AND
COLLEGES WHICH EXERCISES DIRECTION AND CONTROL OF:

(1)   BOWIE STATE COLLEGE;

(2)   COPPIN STATE COLLEGE;
