Development Council
AN ACT concerning
Motion Picture and Television Development Council
FOR the purpose of creating the Motion Picture and
Television Development Council within the Department of
Economic and Community—Development Division of Labor
and Industry; establishing the membership, appointment,
and functioning of the Council; giving the Council
certain powers and responsibilities; requiring the
Council to serve as an advisory body to the Department
of Economic and Community Development Division of Labor
and Industry in developing and implementing a program
to promote the production of motion pictures and
television within this State; specifying what this
program shall include; requiring the Council to
coordinate the activities of similar agencies
established by local governments; and requiring the
Council to recommend to the Department of Economic and
Community Development Division of Labor and Industry
any legislative or administrative actions necessary to
carry out the purposes of this Act; and providing for
the termination of this Act.
