AN ACT concerning

Corrective Bill — Article 73B "Pensions"

FOR the purpose of correcting technical errors in certain
sections of Article 73B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1232.

This bill changes a cross—reference in a provision of
Article 73B of the Code.
Senate Bill 1034, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 16, 1978, changes numerous
references to conform with the newly enacted Education
Article and, in doing so, accomplishes the purpose of this
bill.
Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
1232.
