Therefore it is unnecesary for me to sign Senate Bill Sincerely, Acting Governor Senate Bill No. 343 - Vehicle Laws - Nonresident AN ACT concerning Vehicle Laws — Nonresident's Temporary Nonresident Driver Registration FOR the purpose of defining "domicile" and redefining providing that registration of a vehicle is not required for a new resident of the State for the first 30 days of residency; providing that certain nonresidents need not register their vehicles if they obtain nonresident temporary registration a nonresident's permit from the Motor Vehicle Administration; and relating generally to a nonresident's temporary vehicle registration requiring certain nonresident drivers to obtain a nonresident's permit from the Motor Vehicle Administration; redefining "resident" for purposes of this article; defining "domicile" for purposes of the article; exempting from registration a certain period of time the vehicle of a new Maryland resident; authorizing the Administration to issue nonresident permits; providing for the permit fee and expiration May 29, 1978
