Senate Bill No. 330 — Pensions — Funds

AN ACT concerning

Pensions — Funds

FOR the purpose of amending certain provisions that relate
to the funds under the Employees' Retirement System;
enabling the Secretary of Personnel to combine expense
funds of certain systems for certain purposes;
requiring an annual estimate of the expense fund
requirements and annual certification of amount payable
under the system; and correcting a reference in the
provision for executions of certain documents.

Dear Mr- President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill 330.

This bill amends certain provisions that relate to the
funds under the Employees' Retirement System.

House Bill 588, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 16, 1978, accomplishes the
same purpose.
Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate Bill
330.
