INDUSTRIAL TRAINING.

(2) "SCHOOL" DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY INSTITUTION OF
POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION THAT IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A
CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL UNDER SUBTITLE 2 OF THIS TITLE.

Art. 77A, §32A(i)(1)(ii).

(C) SOLICITOR.

"SOLICITOR" MEANS A PERSON ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS, FOR
COMPENSATION, OF SOLICITING OR OFFERING TO SOLICIT STUDENTS
IN THIS STATE TO ENROLL IN OR APPLY FOR ANY COURSE OF
INSTRUCTION OFFERED BY ANY SCHOOL.

12-302. SOLICITOR'S PERMIT.

(A)   PERMIT REQUIRED.

A PERSON MAY NOT ACT AS A SOLICITOR UNLESS HE HAS A
PERMIT ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.

(B)   APPLICATION.

(1)    EACH SOLICITOR SHALL APPLY TO THE STATE
BOARD FOR HIGHER EDUCATION FOR A PERMIT.

(2)   THE APPLICATION SHALL BE HADE ON THE FORMS
THE BOARD PROVIDES, SHALL CONTAIN THE INFORMATION THE BOARD
REQUIRES, AND SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY:

(I)   A COPY OF EACH TYPE OF CONTRACT OFFERED BY
THE SOLICITOR TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS; AND

(II)     ANY ADVERTISING MATERIALS AND OTHER
REPRESENTATIONS THAT ARE MADE BY THE SCHOOL TO ITS STUDENTS
OR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS.

(C)   TERM.

EACH PERMIT ISSUED UNDER THIS SECTION EXPIRES ON THE
JUNE 30 AFTER ITS ISSUANCE AND MAY BE RENEWED ANNUALLY ON
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF THE REQUIRED FEE.

(D)   ISSUANCE.

(1) THE BOARD SHALL CONSIDER THE APPLICATION AND

ACCOMPANYING MATERIAL.
