specifications for One State Office Building for the
Department of Agriculture..." as shown on page 1263 of
the Acts of 1974; Section 8 of Chapter 289 of the Acts
of 1974 being hereby modified to the extent that said
work may begin upon satisfactory assurances to the
Board of Public Works that said project can be
completed with the aggregate of the funds herein and
heretofore appropriated for that purpose......... 90,000
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 290 of the Acts of 1974,
suspended by Section 4 of Chapter 774 of the Acts of 1976,
be and they are hereby further suspended insofar as they
impose a time limit for placing under contract the following
items contained in Section 5.2 of Chapter 289 of the Acts of
1974:
Section 5.2(C)(14)(a) — Department of Natural
Resources, Tuckahoe State Park (Queen Anne and Caroline
Counties): Construction of a Park Superintendent's
residence.......................................51,000,
Section 5.2(M)(2)(b) - University of Maryland,
Baltimore City Campus: Design and preparation of
preliminary plans and specifications for a School of
Social Work and Community Planning subject to the
approval of program by the Maryland Council for Higher
Education and the Department of State Planning, and
approval of the site plan by the Department of General
Services and Department of State Planning.......92,000,
Section 5.2(R)(2)(a) — Department of Economic and
Community Development, Maryland Arts Council: The
provision of temperature and humidity control and
protection against fire and theft for the Baltimore
Museum of Art, contingent upon assurances to the Board
of Public Works that not less than 75% of the project
cost will be provided by sources other than the State
of Maryland and further contingent upon approval of
plans and specifications by the Department of General
Services and Department of State Planning; available
federal funds shall not serve to reduce this
appropriation.................................600,000,
Section 5.2(R)(3)(d) — Department of Economic and
Community Development, Maryland Historical Trust,
Washington Monument (Baltimore City): Restoration of
the Washington Monument contingent upon the City of
Baltimore providing equal matching funds.......25,000,
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 1.(8) of Chapter 914 of the Acts of
1976 be and they are hereby suspended insofar as they impose
a time limit for placing under contract the following
projects in Section 1.(2) of Chapter 914:
