926.  SCOPE OF LICENSE.

A LICENSE ISSUED TO AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST UNDER
THIS SUBTITLE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSEE TO PRACTICE
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DURING THE TERM FOR WHICH IT IS
EFFECTIVE. A LICENSE ISSUED TO AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
ASSISTANT UNDER THIS SUBTITLE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSEE TO
ASSIST IN THE PRACTICE OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF, OR IN CONSULTATION WITH, AN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPIST DURING THE TERM FOR WHICH IT IS EFFECTIVE.

927.  TERM AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES.

(A)    TERM OF LICENSE.

A LICENSE ISSUED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE EXPIRES ON A DATE
SET BY THE BOARD UNLESS THE LICENSE IS RENEWED AS PROVIDED
IN THIS SECTION.

(B)    APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

A LICENSEE PERIODICALLY MAY RENEW A LICENSE BEFORE IT
EXPIRES, IF THE LICENSEE:

(1)    OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO CONTINUED
LICENSURE UNDER THIS SUBTITLE; AND

(2)    SUBMITS TO THE BOARD:

(I)    A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE FORM
REQUIRED BY THE BOARD; AND

(II)   THE RENEWAL FEE SET BY THE BOARD.

(C)    CONTINUING COMPETENCY.

IN ADDITION TO ANY OTHER QUALIFICATIONS AND
REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD, THE BOARD MAY
ESTABLISH CONTINUING COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS AS A CONDITION
TO THE RENEWAL OF LICENSES UNDER THIS SECTION.

(D)    ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE BOARD SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF EACH LICENSEE WHO
MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.

928.   INACTIVE STATUS; REINSTATEMENT OF EXPIRED LICENSES.

(A) INACTIVE STATUS.

(1) A LICENSEE MAY HAVE THE LICENSE PLACED ON
AN INACTIVE STATUS, IF THE LICENSEE SUBMITS TO THE BOARD:

(I) AN APPLICATION FOR INACTIVE STATUS ON
THE FORM REQUIRED BY THE BOARD; AND

BOARD.

(II) THE INACTIVE STATUS FEE SET BY THE
