922.  EXAMINATIONS.

(A) RIGHT TO EXAMINATION.

IF AN APPLICANT OTHERWISE QUALIFIES FOR A LICENSE UNDER
THIS SUBTITLE HE IS ENTITLED TO BE EXAMINED AS PROVIDED IN
THIS SECTION.

(E) APPLICATION FOR EXAMINATION.

AN APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR
EXAMINATION AND THE FEE ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD AT LEAST 30
DAYS PRICE TO THE DATE OF THE EXAMINATION.

(C)    TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL ADMINISTER EXAMINATIONS OF APPLICANTS
AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR AT THE TIMES AND PLACES THAT IT SETS.

(D)    NOTICE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL NOTIFY A QUALIFIED APPLICANT BY MAIL OF
THE TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

(E)    SUBJECT AND METHOD OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL APPROVE THE SUBJECTS, SCOPE, FORMAT,
AND STANDARDS FOR ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE FOR EXAMINATIONS
ADMINISTERED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE. THE EXAMINATION SHALL
TEST THE APPLICANT'S KNOWLEDGE OF THE BASIC AND CLINICAL
SCIENCES RELATING TO OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPY THEORY AND PRACTICE, PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, JUDGMENT
IN THE UTILIZATION OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TECHNIQUES AND
METHODS AND ANY OTHER SUBJECTS THAT THE BOARD MAY FIND
USEFUL TO DETERMINE THE APPLICANT'S FITNESS FOR LICENSURE.

(F)    APPLICANTS MAY OBTAIN THEIR EXAMINATION SCORES
AND MAY REVIEW THEIR PAPERS IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULES WHICH
THE BOARD MAY ESTABLISH.

923.  WAIVER OF EXAMINATIONS.

(A) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION, THE
BOARD SHALL WAIVE THE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENT OF THIS
SUBTITLE FOR AN APPLICANT WHO IS CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSOCIATION PRIOR TO JULY 1, 1978 1979
AS AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REGISTERED (O.T.R.) OR A
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (C.O.T.A.); AND
SUBMITS THE APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED BY §921 OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

(E) SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION, THE
BOARD MAY WAIVE THE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENT OF THIS SUBTITLE
FOR AN APPLICANT WHO:

(1) IS CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPY ASSOCIATION AFTER JULY 1, 1978 1979 IF THE BOARD
