(E) EXCEPTIONS.
THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO:

(1)    ANY PERSON EMPLOYED AS AN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPIST, OR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT BY THE
GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES, IF THE PERSON PROVIDES
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SOLELY UNDER THE DIRECTION OR CONTROL
OF THE ORGANIZATION BY WHICH THE PERSON IS EMPLOYED, FOR THE
DURATION OF THAT EMPLOYMENT, AND DIRECTLY RELATED TO THAT
PERSON'S EMPLOYMENT.

(2)    ANY PERSON PURSUING A COURSE OF STUDY
LEADING TO A DEGREE OF CERTIFICATE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
AT AN ACCREDITED OR APPROVED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IF THOSE
ACTIVITIES OR SERVICES CONSTITUTE A PART OF A SUPERVISED
COURSE OF STUDY. THIS PERSON SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY A TITLE
WHICH CLEARLY INDICATES STATUS AS A STUDENT OR TRAINEE.

(3)    ANY PERSON FULFILLING THE SUPERVISED FIELD
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT OF THIS SUBTITLE CONTAINED IN
§920 IF THOSE ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES CONSTITUTE A PART OF
THE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT OF THAT
SECTION. THIS PERSON SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY A TITLE WHICH
CLEARLY INDICATES STATUS AS A STUDENT OR TRAINEE.

(4)    ANY OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST OR OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPY ASSISTANT PERFORMING OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES
IN THE STATE, IF THAT PERSON IS NOT A RESIDENT OF THIS STATE
AND IS NOT LICENSED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE AND, IF THOSE
SERVICES ARE PERFORMED FOR NO MORE THAN A TOTAL OF 90 DAYS
IN A CALENDAR YEAR. THAT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST SHALL ONLY
PERFORM THESE SERVICES IN ASSOCIATION WITH AN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPIST LICENSED UNDER THIS SUBTITLE OR UPON PROMPT
NOTIFICATION TO THE BOARD. AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
ASSISTANT SHALL ONLY PERFORM THESE SERVICES UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LICENSED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE AND UPON PROMPT NOTIFICATION TO THE BOARD.

(5)    ANY PERSON EMPLOYED AS AN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPY AIDE WHO PROVIDES SERVICES UNDER THE DIRECT
SUPERVISION OF AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST OR AN OCCUPATIONAL
THERAPY ASSISTANT.

920. QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANTS.

(A) IN GENERAL.

IN ADDITION TO THE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SUBTITLE, AN APPLICANT SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SECTION TO QUALIFY FOR A LICENSE.

(E) MORAL CHARACTER.

THE APPLICANT SHALL BE AN INDIVIDUAL OF GOOD MORAL
CHARACTER.

(C) AGE.
