Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter _____ of the Acts

of the General Assembly of 1978)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1978) be repealed, amended, or enacted to read
as follows:

Article — Education

18-307.

(a) Each legislative district is entitled to an
annual allocation of not more than:

(1)    [$1,500,] $3,000, or the amount the
district received in fiscal year 1976, whichever is more;
and

(2)    $2,000 for each member entitled to be
elected to the House of Delegates from that district.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978 1979.

(Senate Bill 891)

AN ACT concerning

Creation of a State Debt — Animal Hospital

FOR the purpose of authorizing the creation of a State debt
in the amount of $2,500,000 $2,300,000, the proceeds to
be used for a State grant to Baltimore City for the
construction and equipping of an animal hospital at the
Baltimore City Zoo in Druid Hill Park, including the
payment of architects' and engineers' fees; specifying
certain conditions for the payment of these funds; and
providing generally for the issuance and sale of bonds
evidencing the loan.
