filed as required in this subsection, it is unlawful and a
violation of this article for a central committee, partisan
organization, or political committee, or any of its members,
to collect, or receive, or disburse money, or other valuable
things, for such purposes. A chairman or treasurer of a
committee or organization who resigns, WHO IS NOT REELECTED,

OR WHOSE TERM EXPIRES WITHOUT HAVING SOUGHT REELECTION OR

OTHERWISE CEASES TO BE CHAIRMAN OR TREASURER, AS THE CASE
MAY BE, shall [do so] NOTIFY THE BOARD OR THE STATE
ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS WHERE THE ORIGINAL
APPOINTMENT WAS FILED on a form prescribed by the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws signed by him [and
filed with the board or with the State Administrative Board
of Election Laws where the original appointment was filed].
A new appointment must be made and filed immediately in
accordance with this section. The treasurer and chairman
shall file campaign fund reports in accordance with
subsection (b) of this section and § 26—11 of this article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

Dorchester County — Alcoholic Beverages
(Sales on Election Day)

FOR the purpose of allowing holders of alcoholic beverage
licenses in Dorchester County to exercise all of the
privileges conferred by the license on election day.

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 88(c)(5) through 88(c) (11), respectively,

to be Section 88(c)(6) through 88(c)(12), respectively
