together with annotations and maps the Commission deems
appropriate; and (2) SHALL annually PUBLISH a report setting
forth, in such detail as the Commission deems appropriate,
the work of the Commission for the year, including its land
acquisitions, financial transactions, personnel matters,
litigation and disposition of violations, and other data and
information. The Commission may charge a fee for the
publication sufficient to cover in whole or in part the cost
thereof.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland-National Capital Park, and Planning Commission

(Comprehensive Insurance Program)

PG/MC 31-78

FOR the purpose of providing for a comprehensive insurance
program to protect the Commission, its members, staff,

and employees, and property, and citizens and

residents of the Commission's jurisdiction; providing
that the comprehensive insurance program may include
the purchase of insurance from surety companies or, in
the alternative, provide for funded self-insurance or a
combination thereof; providing authorization for the
Commission to cooperate with self-insurance programs
with Montgomery and Prince George's Counties; generally

relating to insurance in certain counties; and

providing that the provisions of this Act are
severable.
