duties. The total in any one fiscal year may not exceed
$2400.]

(E) AS AUTHORIZED BY THE COMMISSION BUDGET FOR EACH
FISCAL YEAR, THE COMMISSION SHALL SET THE COMPENSATION OF
THE MEMBERS OF THE MERIT SYSTEM BOARD.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
