[(c) This section does not prohibit an unlicensed
person from transporting a vehicle to a licensed wrecker or
a licensed scrap processor for dismantling, destroying, or
scrapping.]

(C) A PERSON MAY NOT SOLICIT, ADVERTISE FOR, OR

ENGAGE N THE BUSINESS OF TOWING, REMOVING, OR PURCHASING

ABANDONED VEHICLES OR VEHICLES WHICH ARE TO BE SCRAPPED,

DISMANTLED, OR DESTROYED IN WHOLE OR PART UNLESS HE IS A

LICENSED WRECKER OR SCRAP PROCESSOR.

15-508.

Within 30 days after a wrecker acquires TITLE TO a
vehicle, the wrecker shall notify the Administration of the
acquisition. The notice shall be given in the form that the
Administration requires. IMMEDIATELY AFTER GIVING THE
REQUIRED NOTICE THE WRECKER MAY DISMANTLE, DISPOSE OF, OR

SCRAP THE VEHICLE DISPOSE OF THE VEHICLE FOR DISMANTLING OR

SCRAPPING.

(A) A wrecker may not store vehicles at his place of
business at a density or more than 250 vehicles for any one

acre.

(B) THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO VEHICLES THAT HAVE
BEEN DESTROYED BY CRUSHING OR OTHER MEANS AND MADE READY FOR
SHIPMENT TO A SCRAP PROCESSOR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
