electrician OR MASTER ELECTRICIAN LIMITED, who shall do or
perform any such work except under the direction of a master
electrician OR MASTER ELECTRICIAN LIMITED, and any person
having teen licensed as a master electrician OR MASTER
ELECTRICIAN LIMITED and who shall fail to renew his license
as herein provided, and shall do or perform any such work,
or who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than
[twenty-five dollars ($25.00)] $25 nor more than [five
hundred dollars ($500.00)] $500 or to an imprisonment not
exceeding [ninety (90)] 90 days, or both, in the discretion
of the court, and any such conviction shall ipso facto
revoke and annul any license that may have been issued to
such person.

Article II. Master Electrician
AND MASTER ELECTRICIAN LIMITED.

7-12.

The term "master electrician", as used in this chapter,
[shall he defined as and including] INCLUDES any and all
persons engaged in THE business of, or holding themselves
out to the public as engaged in the business of, installing,
REPLACING, erecting, or [repairing] RELOCATING, or
contracting, to install, REPLACE OR erect [or repair]
electric wires or conductors, to be used for the
transmission of electric current for electric light, heat,
PROTECTIVE SIGNALING, or power purposes, or mouldings,
ducts, raceways, or conduits for the reception or protection
of such wires or conductors, or to any electrical machinery,
apparatus, devices or fixtures to be used for electric
light, heat, PROTECTIVE SIGNALING or power purposes. THE
TERM "MASTER ELECTRICIAN LIMITED", AS USEE IN THIS CHAPTER,
INCLUDES ANY AND ALL PERSONS DETERMINED TO BE QUALIFIED BY
THE BOARD TO ENGAGE IN OR HOLD THEMSELVES OUT TO THE PUBLIC
TO ENGAGE IN ANY SPECIFIC PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THE
BUSINESS IN WHICH A MASTER ELECTRICIAN MAY ENGAGE. A
license of "master electrician" issued and in accordance
with the provisions of this chapter shall entitle any such
person so licensed to engage in the business of and to hold
himself out to the public as engaged in the business of
installing, erecting, REPLACING AND RELOCATING, and
[repairing and of contracting to install, erect and repair
any electric wires or conductors, etc., provided, however,
that nothing in this chapter shall apply to any firm or
corporation if the person managing and in charge of the
electrical work for said firm or corporation is a master
electrician licensed under this chapter] OF CONTRACTING TO
INSTALL, ERECT, REPLACE AND RELOCATE, AS DEFINED UNDER
MASTER ELECTRICIAN. A LICENSE OF "MASTER ELECTRICIAN
LIMITED" ISSUED AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
THIS CHAPTER SHALL ENTITLE ANY SUCH PERSON TO ENGAGE IN THAT
PORTION OR PORTIONS OF THE BUSINESS AS DEFINED UNDER MASTER
ELECTRICIAN, SO SPECIFIED IN HIS LICENSE, PROVIDED, HOWEVER,
THAT (A) NOTHING IN THIS CHAPTER SHALL APPLY TO ANY FIRM OR
CORPORATION WHO HAS IN ITS EMPLOY A LICENSED MASTER
