CONSIST OF ALL OR ANY OF THE FORMER MEMBERS OF THE
COMMISSION, OR ANY OTHER MEMBERS AS THE BOARD MAY DEEM
NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE. THE ADVISORY COUNCIL MAY REVIEW AND
RECOMMEND RATES, POLICIES AND PLANS FOR THE MAINTENANCE,
DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION OR ESTABLISHMENT OF ANY WATER, SEWERAGE
OR DRAINAGE SYSTEM EXISTING OR TO BE CONSTRUCTED OR
ESTABLISHED IN CARROLL COUNTY.

15-27.

(a)    All Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with the
provisions of this subtitle are repealed to the extent of
their inconsistency, providing that nothing herein contained
shall be taken as restricting any control which the State
[Board] DEPARTMENT of Health [of Maryland] AND MENTAL
HYGIENE and the State Department of Water Resources are
empowered to exercise within [the county] CARROLL COUNTY.

(b)    The provisions of this subtitle are severable,
and it is the intention to confer the whole or any part of
the powers herein provided for, and if any of the provisions
of this subtitle shall be held unconstitutional by any court
of competent -jurisdiction, the decision of such court shall
not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions of this
subtitle. It is hereby declared to be the legislative
intent that this subtitle would have been adopted had such
unconstitutional provision not been included therein.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1979.

CHAPTER 740

(House Bill 1767)

AN ACT concerning

Carroll County - Intracounty Fresh Pursuit

FOR the purpose of permitting police officers in any
incorporated municipality in Carroll County, when in
fresh pursuit, to follow into Carroll County and arrest
any person for a violation of State law or of any law
or ordinance of the incorporated municipality.
