BLAIR LEE III, Acting Governor 2119 AN ACT concerning Vehicle laws — Student Drivers FOR the purpose of altering the requirements for driving BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Transportation SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article — Transportation 16-105.1. Any individual who is at least 15 years old may drive a (1) He is a student enrolled in: (I) [a] A driver's education course approved (II) A DRIVERS' SCHOOL LICENSED UNDER SUBTITLE 7 (III) OTHER DRIVER EDUCATION COURSES JOINTLY APPROVED BY__THE LOCAL BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE MOTOR VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION; (2) The motor vehicle is equipped with a dual brake (I) § 16-506 of this title; OR (II) TITLE 15 OF THIS ARTICLE; and (3) While driving the motor vehicle, he is under the (i) A classroom or laboratory instructor (ii) A qualified student instructor participating |
