SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

203.

(H) IN HOWARD COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY IMPOSE A FINE OF NOT MORE THAN $1,000 IN

LIEU OF SUSPENSION OF OR SUSPEND A LICENSE FOR ANY

VIOLATION THAT IS CAUSE FOR SUSPENSION UNDER THE ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGE LAWS AFFECTING HOWARD COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

language.
