Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter _____ of the Acts of the General

Assembly of 1978) be repealed, amended, or enacted to read
as follows:

Article — Education

5-101.

(F) IN ADDITION TO ALL OTHER INFORMATION REQUIRED BY
THIS SECTION, THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION, ON
REQUEST OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND COUNTY COUNCIL, SHALL
PROVIDE WITH THE ANNUAL BUDGET THE PROGRAM IMPLICATIONS OF
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REDUCTIONS TO OR INCREASES IN ITS ANNUAL
BUDGET, AT WHATEVER DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FUNDING AND
ACCOMPANIED BY WHATEVER REASONABLE SUPPORTING DETAIL AND
ANALYSIS, AS MAY BE SPECIFIED BY THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE AND
COUNTY COUNCIL, PRIOR TO THE SUBMISSION OF THE ANNUAL
BUDGET, SIMILAR INFORMATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED BY THE
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS UPON REQUEST BY THE COUNTY
EXECUTIVE OR COUNTY COUNCIL.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
