AN ACT concerning

Juvenile Causes — Court Costs

FOR the purpose of allowing court costs of juvenile
proceedings to be imposed on certain persons under
certain circumstances.

BY adding to

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

Section 3-820(d)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1974 Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

(C) THE COURT MAY IMPOSE REASONABLE COURT COSTS
AGAINST A RESPONDENT, OR THE RESPONDENT'S PARENT, GUARDIAN,
OR CUSTODIAN, AGAINST WHOM A FINDING OF DELINQUENCY HAS BEEN
ENTERED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County — Benefit Assessments

FOR the purpose of providing that the County Commissioners
of St. Mary's County may levy benefit assessments
against all property that benefits from the
construction or improvement of certain roads or
drainage systems; and altering the length of time over
which the cost of the improvements may be assessed.
