CHAPTER 661 (House Bill 1374) AN ACT concerning Worcester County — Jurors FOR the purpose of specifying that payments to jurors in BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings Section 8-106 Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1977 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings 8-106. [(a-1)] (A) As used in this section, unless otherwise indicated, "mileage allowance" means the rate for each mile or fraction of a mile over five miles actually traveled by a juror going to and from court each day over [(a-2)] (B) A juror shall receive the per diem [(a-3)] (1) Allegany County—$15; a juror [(a-4)] (2) Anne Arundel County—$15 [(a-5)] (3) Baltimore City — $10 expense |
