SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

FROM JUNE 1 TO SEPTEMBER 14, INCLUSIVE, A PERSON MAY
CATCH SOFT-SHELL CLAMS ONLY BETWEEN ONE-HALF HOUR BEFORE
SUNRISE AND 1 P.M. EXCEPT THAT SOFT-SHELL CLAMS MAY BE

CAUGHT AFTER 1 P.M. IF THEY ARE KEPT IN ON-BOARD

REFRIGERATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Election Code — 1978 Conference on Democratic Organization

and Policy

FOR the purpose of making certain uncodified and temporary
provisions in the election laws of this State relating
to political party organization and procedure;
temporarily amending Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland; and providing for selection of delegates
to the 1978 Conference on Democratic Organization and
Policy.

BY repealing

Chapter 317 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1974

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Chapter 317 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1974 be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That

(A) FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING DELEGATES TO THE 1978
CONFERENCE ON DEMOCRATIC ORGANIZATION AND POLICY, THE
GOVERNING BODY OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN THIS STATE MAY
CALL PARTY CAUCUSES IN EACH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF THE
