BLAIR LEE III, Acting Governor 1953 of the General Assembly of 1978) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article 88B - State Police Section 54(2) Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article 73B — Pensions 12. (2) The board shall consist of seven trustees, as (a) The State Secretary of Budget and Fiscal (b) The State Comptroller, ex officio, (c) The State Secretary of Personnel, ex officio, (d) The State Treasurer, ex officio, (e) Three [State employees who shall be] appointed for a term of four (4) years by the Board of Public Works and two (2) of whom shall be elected by the members AND BENEFICIARIES of said system for a term of four trustee shall expire August 1, 1949. TRUSTEES WHO ARE MEMBERS OR BENEFICIARIES OF THE SYSTEM AND NOT MORE THAN ONE OF WHOM MAY BE A BENEFICIARY OF THE SYSTEM. TWO OF THE TRUSTEES SHALL BE ELECTED BY THE MEMBERS AND THE BENEFICIARIES FOR FOUR-YEAR TERMS. ONE OF THE TRUSTEES SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FROM THE MEMBERS OF THE SYSTEM FOR A FOUR-YEAR TERM. ELECTIONS OF TRUSTEES SHALL BE CONDUCTED PURSUANT TO RULES AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. SECTION 2.
