AN ACT concerning

Hunting Licenses — Effective Dates

FOR the purpose of altering the effective dates of hunting

licenses; and repealing an obsolete provision of the

law.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 10-301(h)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources

10-301.

(h) A hunter's license shall be valid for the period
[September 1] AUGUST 1 through [August 31] JULY 31, of each
year. Licenses issued with an expiration date of June 30,
1975 are extended to August 31, 1975.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

shall take effect January 1, 1979.
