AN ACT concerning

Tracts of Land - Department of Natural Resources

FOR the purpose of requiring that contracts be of a certain
duration which place tracts of land within the program
of forest conservation and management of the Department
of Natural Resources; altering provisions concerning
new valuation of these tracts of land for assessment
purposes; prohibiting penalty taxes when these tracts
of land are placed outside the program by eminent
domain or other involuntary proceeding; and requiring
that a memorandum of the contract agreement be recorded
in each county where the land is located.
