(I)    THE PRIOR NAME; AND

(II)   THE DIVORCE A VINCULO MATRIMONII.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Frederick County — Blue Laws

FOR the purpose of exempting certain retail merchants in
Frederick County from the provisions of the law
prohibiting the sale of certain matters on Sunday;
altering certain penalties; clarifying language; and
generally relating to Sunday sales in Frederick County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

534Q.

(a) In Frederick County, except as specifically in this
section otherwise provided, it is unlawful on Sunday for any
wholesale or retail establishment to conduct business for
labor or profit in the usual manner and location or to
operate its establishment in any manner for the general
