(1971 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 43 - Health

122.

(b) The following persons may practice without a
license, but subject to rules, regulations and orders of the
Board and Commission:

(8) AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS RECEIVED A MASTER'S
DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY, INCLUDING
COMPLETION OF A GRADUATE PROGRAM IN A BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE
WHICH INCLUDED 1,000 HOURS OF SUPERVISED CLINICAL
PSYCHOTHERAPY EXPERIENCE ACCEPTABLE TO THE BOARD, UNDER THE
SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED PHYSICIAN PSYCHIATRIST.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
