AN ACT concerning

Controlled Dangerous Substances

FOR the purpose of providing procedures for forfeiture of a
motor vehicle used in violation of the laws dealing
with Controlled Dangerous Substances, if the defendant
fails to appear for trial and is a fugitive from
justice for a certain period; and renumbering
subsections.

respectively
to be Section 297(t), 297(u), 297(v), 297(w) and

297(x), respectively

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 297(s), 297(t), 297(u), 297 (v) ,
and 297(w), respectively, of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered
to be Section(s) 297(t), 297(u), 297(v), 297(w) and 297(x) ,
respectively.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
