ENGINEERING PROFESSIONS, PUBLIC UTILITIES, THE CONSTRUCTION
INDUSTRY, LEGISLATIVE BODIES OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, AND THE
GENERAL PUBLIC.

(D) (1) THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES, SHALL PROVIDE TO LOCAL JURISDICTIONS TRAINING ON
THE APPLICATION OF THE STATE ILLUMINATION GUIDELINES FOR
EXISTING PUBLIC BUILDINGS. THE TRAINING MAY INCLUDE A
PROGRAM THAT A FEDERAL AGENCY OR CONTRACT AGENT DEVELOPS.

(2) THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES WILL
RENDER ASSISTANCE TO LOCAL JURISDICTIONS IN DETERMINING THE
COST-BENEFIT IMPACTS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GUIDELINES AND
ALSO IN CARRYING OUT AUDITS OF SPECIFIC BUILDINGS OR
INSTALLATIONS TO DETERMINE LIGHTING PERFORMANCE
CHARACTERISTICS AND THE SAVINGS POSSIBLE THROUGH
IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE GUIDELINES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Alcoholic Beverages — Prince George's County
FOR the purpose of providing for an exception to the

alcoholic beverage laws pertaining to Hyattsville such

that a certain kind of liquor license may be

transfered allow for the transferral of a certain kind

of alcoholic beverage license in Hyattsville;

correcting language; and providing for a fee for this
license; and making this Act an emergency measure.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
