(2) A CHIROPRACTOR ON INACTIVE STATUS WHO
DESIRES TO REGAIN ACTIVE STATUS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL
CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS EXISTING IN THE YEAR HE
WISHES TO RETURN TO ACTIVE STATUS, AND PAY A REINSTATEMENT
FEE ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Public Buildings — Illumination Standards

FOR the purpose of providing statewide illumination
guidelines for existing public buildings; providing for
development and promulgation of these guidelines and
for certain training programs and assistance with
respect to the guidelines; defining certain terms; and
generally relating to illumination in public buildings.

BY adding to

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 257M, to be under the new subheading
"Illumination Guidelines for Public Buildings"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 11 - Governor — Executive and Administrative
Departments

ILLUMINATION GUIDELINES FOR EXISTING PUBLIC BUILDINGS

257M.

(A) (1) IN THIS SECTION THE FOLLOWING TERMS HAVE
THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(2) "ASHRAE" MEANS THE ORGANIZATION KNOWN AS
THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HEATING, REFRIGERATING, AND AIR
CONDITIONING ENGINEERS.
