SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Transportation

12-301.

(f) (1) A special identification card may be used
as legal identification of the individual to whoa it is
issued for any purpose.

(2) A SPECIAL IDENTIFICATION CARD ISSUED UNDER
THIS SECTION HAS THE SAME VALIDITY AS A DRIVER'S LICENSE
ISSUED UNDER THIS ARTICLE WHEN ISSUED USED FOR PURPOSES OF
IDENTIFICATION ONLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

Personal Representative - Removing Designation by Sex
