Article 56 — Licenses

Section 224B

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 56 — Licenses

224B.

It is unlawful for a broker licensee to lend his
license to a salesman[,] OR UNLICENSED PERSON or TO permit a
salesman OR UNLICENSED PERSON to operate as a broker. A
broker licensee must exercise reasonable and adequate
supervision over the activities of his salesmen. The
Commission may, if it finds a violation of this section,
revoke or suspend any license issued under this subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
