written during the progress of the autopsy, and the
conclusions drawn from the findings, shall be filed in the
office of the chief medical examiner, or in the office of
the deputy medical examiner in the county where the death
occurred. A copy of the findings and conclusions as to the
autopsies performed in the several counties shall also be
filed in the office of the chief medical examiner.
Provided, however, a deputy medical examiner may call upon
the chief medical examiner or an assistant medical examiner,
or other person authorized and designated by the chief
medical examiner, to make an examination or perform an
autopsy whenever he deems it necessary or desirable, and it
shall be the duty of the chief medical examiner or assistant
medical examiner to perform the examination, except in those
cases as a competent pathologist is so authorized by the
chief medical examiner to perform the autopsy. The
necessary expenses for transportation OR EXAMINATION of a
body for autopsy by the chief or an assistant medical
examiner OR DEPUTY MEDICAL EXAMINER or an authorized
pathologist OR EXAMINATION BY A DEPUTY MEDICAL EXAMINER and
any reasonable fee payable to the authorized pathologist as
has been approved by the chief medical examiner for each
autopsy the authorized pathologist may perform, shall be
paid by the Comptroller of the State of Maryland out of the
revenues of the Racing Commission, pursuant to the
provisions of ALLOCATED BY § 19(A)(1) of Article 78B of this
Code BEFORE CREDITING ANY PART OF THIS ALLOCATION TO THE
GENERAL FUND UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 78B OF THIS
CODE.
It shall be the doty of the Governor to provide for
these payments in the budget for the fiscal year 1957 and
every year after that, and the expenses may not be paid by
the Comptroller unless provision for it has been made in the
budget.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

lending his license to or permitting operation as a
broker by any unlicensed person; and providing certain
penalties for violations.
