TELEPHONE NUMBER OF THE INDIVIDUAL PUBLIC OFFICE WHICH USES
THAT STATIONERY.

ANY OFFICIAL LETTERHEAD STATIONERY OF THE JUDICIAL
DEPARTMENT OF STATE GOVERNMENT SHALL INCLUDE THE TELEPHONE
NUMBER OF THE INDIVIDUAL PUBLIC OFFICE WHICH USES THAT
STATIONERY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Racing Commission - Qualifications of Commissioners

FOR the purpose of establishing certain qualifications for
members of the Maryland Racing Commission.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 78B — Racing Commission

Section 2(a) (1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 78B — Racing Commission

2.

(a) (1) Each commissioner, at the time of
appointment and qualification to the Commission, shall be:

(i) a resident of the State of Maryland
who shall have resided in the State for at least five years
next preceding appointment and qualification; and

(ii) a qualified voter in the State of
