SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(g) Each of the judges of the court for Caroline
County shall receive [$20] $25 for every day's regular
attendance upon the sessions of the court, not to exceed
[$1,140] $1,400 in one year.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act

may not be construed to extend or apply to the salary of the
Judges of the Orphans' Court of Caroline County in office on
the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this
Act concerning the salary of the Judges of the Orphans'
Court of Caroline County shall take effect at the beginning
of the next following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Public Service Commission — Fuel and Purchased
Power Rate Adjustments

FOR the purpose of providing more definite standards for the
Public Service Commission to evaluate whether fuel and
purchased power rate adjustments are justified;
providing for separate standards concerning electric
utility companies that produce or generate power and
whose gross annual revenues exceed $25,000,000; and
generally relating to fuel and purchased power rate
adjustments.
