and the offenses are those specified in the following
sections of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1967 Repl. Vol.) as they may be amended from time to time:

(12) Section [338] 388 (relating to manslaughter
by automobile, motorboat, etc.);

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Corrective Bill - Article 31B "Patuxent Institution"

FOR the purpose of correcting technical errors in certain
sections of Article 31B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 31B — Patuxent Institution

Section 14

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1977 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 31B — Patuxent Institution

14.

The director may determine from time to time whether,
and to what extent, persons in the custody of the
Institution and selected by the director, shall supply
goods, wares, merchandise and produce required to be
purchased by "consuming institutions" as defined in Article
27, [§680] SECTION 681 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
All such activities shall be conducted in accordance with
the provisions of Article 27, [§ 680] SECTION 681 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
