A COURT OF LAW HAS JURISDICTION IN AN ACTION FOR

MANDAMUS.

3-8A-02.

AN ACTION FOR A WHIT OF MANDAMUS SHALL BE TRIED BY A
JURY ON REQUEST OF EITHER PARTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED. That the
provisions of this Act repeal the last regaining provision
of Article 60 — Mandamus, and therefore the Article 60, and
its title, "Mandamus", is hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
