(c) This section does not apply to a person if an
emergency prevents the movement of a vehicle in which he is
riding and the person goes only to the nearest telephone or
other source of assistance[ . ], NOR TO A PERSON BOARDING OR
LEAVING A BUS WITHIN A BUS STOP APPROVED BY THE STATE
HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.

AN ACT concerning

Workmen's Compensation — Assessments

FOR the purpose of requiring the Workmen's Compensation
Commission to make certain assessments against certain
employers if an employee dies from certain causes and
without surviving dependents and if an award likely to
be made, or made, for certain reasons, is not made or
is abated; and specifying that the assessment
provisions do not apply to certain awards.
