AN ACT concerning

Agricultural Liming Materials and Gypsum — Fees

FOR the purpose of deleting a certain dollar limitation on
fees for registration and inspection of agricultural
liming materials and gypsum; and adding clarifying
language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 6-305(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article — Agriculture

6-305.

(b) Each distributor shall pay an annual        $100

registration fee for agricultural liming materials     and

gypsum sold or distributed in the State. In addition,      each

distributor shall pay an inspection fee at the rate    of 5
cents per ton SOLD IN THE STATE. [However, no registrant is

required to pay more than $500 in registration and   lime
inspection fees in any one year.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1978.
