(2) THE REGISTRATION OF EACH VEHICLE OWNED BY THE
PERSON.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
from Art. 66 1/2, §10-109.
The section has been revised to clarify the
intent that it apply only to the report
required by §20—107 of this title and not, for
example, the report required by §20—104(b),
which does not relate to the Administration as
does this section,
In item (1) of this section, the present
reference to a "nonresident's operating
privilege" is deleted as unnecessary in light
of the broad definition of "license" in
§11-128 of this article.
The present express reference to a failure to
report as being a "misdemeanor" is deleted as
unnecessary in light of §27-101 of this
article.
The only other changes are in style.
As to item (1) of this section, see, also,
§16-402(a)(9) of this article, which provides
for a 5—"point" assessment on failure to
report an accident, and §16-404, which
generally requires suspension on accumulation
of 8 points and revocation on accumulation of
12 points.
