GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE: In revising this title, the Commission to Revise the
Annotated Code deleted present Art. 66 1/2, §6-208.1,
which requires reexamination under §16—110 of this
subtitle before reinstatement of a license revoked under
the point system. The present section is unnecessary in
light of §16—404(d), which contains the same
requirements. As to suspensions and revocations under the point
system, see Subtitle 4 of this title.
SUBTITLE 3. VIOLATION OF LICENSE PROVISIONS.
16-301. UNLAWFUL APPLICATION FOR OR USE OF LICENSE. (A)   FRAUD IN APPLICATION FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE.
A PERSON MAY NOT: (1)    KNOWINGLY OR FRAUDULENTLY OBTAIN OR
ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN A DRIVER'S LICENSE BY
MISREPRESENTATION; OR (2)    IN ANY APPLICATION FOR A DRIVER'S LICENSE: (I)   USE A FALSE OR FICTITIOUS NAME; (II)   KNOWINGLY MAKE A FALSE STATEMENT; (III)    KNOWINGLY CONCEAL A MATERIAL FACT; OR (IV)   OTHERWISE COMMIT A FRAUD. (B)   MISUSE OF LICENSE TO DRIVE.
A PERSON MAY NOT: (1)    DISPLAY, CAUSE OR PERMIT TO BE
DISPLAYED, OR HAVE IN HIS POSSESSION ANY CANCELED,
REVOKED, SUSPENDED, FICTITIOUS, OR FRAUDULENTLY ALTERED
LICENSE; (2)    LEND. HIS LICENSE TO ANY OTHER PERSON OR
KNOWINGLY PERMIT THE USE OF HIS LICENSE BY ANOTHER; (3)   DISPLAY OR REPRESENT AS HIS OWN ANY
LICENSE NOT ISSUED TO HIM; (4)    FAIL OR REFUSE TO SURRENDER TO THE
ADMINISTRATION ON ITS LAWFUL DEMAND ANY LICENSE THAT HAS
BEEN SUSPENDED, REVOKED, OR CANCELED;
