MARVIN MANDEL, Governor
PARTICIPANT IN THE MARYLAND DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM, THE
PERSON HAS FAILED TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF
OR ANY OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS ADOPTED UNDER THE
MARYLAND DRIVER EDUCATION PROGRAM ACT. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
from Art. 66 1/2, §6-507(b) and revised to
conform generally to the similar provisions
appearing in each of the other subtitles of
this title. Item (2) of this section is new language
derived from the first sentence of present
Art. 66 1/2, §6-706. As to the referenced
"Maryland Driver Education Program" — and the
balance of present §6-706 — see Title 16,
Subtitle 5 of this article. Present Art. 66 1/2, §6-507(b)(1), which
provides for suspension, etc., of a license on
the "expiration, suspension, or revocation of
the operator's license of the instructor", is
deleted as unnecessary in light of §15-803(a)(2) of this subtitle and its
effective incorporation in §15-109 of this
title. Present Art. 66 1/2, §6-507(b)(2), which
provides for suspension or revocation on
violation of any rules or regulations of the
Administration, is deleted as already covered
by the standard provisions of §15—109 of this
title.
GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE: In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code attempted to delineate more clearly
the distinction between a drivers' school, which is
required to be licensed under Subtitle 7 of this title,
and a driving instructor. See §§ 15—801(b), 15-803, and
15—804 of this subtitle and their respective revisor's
notes. Also, as detailed in various of the revisor's notes
in this subtitle, the substance of some of the provisions
of present Art. 66 1/2, §6—507 ("Instructors") have been
incorporated in the standard, general provisions of
Subtitle 1 of this title and do not require repetition in
this subtitle. See, also, General Revisor's Note to
Subtitle 1 of this title.
TITLE 16. VEHICLE LAWS—DRIVERS' LICENSES. SUBTITLE 1.        ISSUANCE, EXPIRATION, AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES.
