revisor's note to §13—932 of this subtitle. The only other changes are in style. 13-932 13-934. COMPANY VAN POOL VEHICLES: CLASS J (VAN
POOL) VEHICLES. (A)       CLASSIFICATION. WHEN REGISTERED WITH THE ADMINISTRATION, EVERY VEHICLE USED AS A COMPANY VAN POOL VEHICLE, AS DEFINED IN
ARTICLE 78 OF THE CODE, IS A CLASS J (VAN POOL) VEHICLE. (B)   ANNUAL FEE. FOR EACH CLASS J (VAN POOL) VEHICLE, THE ANNUAL
REGISTRATION FEE IS $60. (C)   SPECIAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS. (1)    BEFORE THE ADMINISTRATION REGISTERS OR
RENEWS THE REGISTRATION OF ANY VEHICLE UNDER THIS
SECTION, THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL REQUIRE THE APPLICANT
TO PRESENT AN INSPECTION CERTIFICATE FOR THE VEHICLE
ISSUED UNDER TITLE 23 OF THIS ARTICLE WITHIN 30 DAYS
BEFORE THE DATE OF APPLICATION TOR REGISTRATION. (2)   BEFORE THE ADMINISTRATION REGISTERS OR
RENEWS THE REGISTRATION OF ANY VEHICLE UNDER THIS
SECTION, THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL REQUIRE THE APPLICANT
TO PRESENT A CERTIFICATE FOR INSURANCE FOR THE VEHICLE
AND ITS OCCUPANTS IN AN AMOUNT AT LEAST EQUAL TO: (I)   FIVE TIMES THE MINIMUM COVERAGE REQUIRED
BY §17-103(B)(1) OF THIS ARTICLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF
CLAIMS FOR BODILY INJURY OR DEATH; (II)    THE MINIMUM COVERAGE REQUIRED BY
§17-103(B) (2) OF THIS ARTICLE FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE CLAIMS;
AND (III)     THE MINIMUM BENEFITS REQUIRED BY
§17-103(B)(3) AND (4) OF THIS ARTICLE. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 66 1/2,
§§3-812 and 13-106(d) and (e). In subsection (a) of this section, a
cross—reference to the definition of "company
van pool" in Art. 78, §2 (jj) is added. This
permits the deletion of the identical
definition in present Art. 66 1/2, §1-113.1
and assures the continued identity of the
meaning of the term, whether as used here or
in Art. 78.
