(1) IS NOT ENTITLED BY LAW TO THEIR
POSSESSION OR USE;
(2) KNOWINGLY HAS MADE OR PERMITTED ANY
ILLEGAL USE OF THEM;
(3) HAS COMMITTED FRAUD IN CONNECTION WITH
THE PERSON'S APPLICATION FOR THEM; OR
(4) HAS FAILED TO GIVE NOTICES OF TRANSFERS
OR OTHER INFORMATION AS REQUIRED BY THIS TITLE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
from Art. 66 1/2, §3-705.
Present §3—705 is somewhat obsolete in that it
refers only to special plates issued to a
"finance company, transporter, or dealer". It
is revised, therefore, to reflect the addition
over the years of additional legislation for
special plates and to update its applicability
to all persons to whom special plates are
issued under Subtitle 6, Part III.
In item (4) of this section, the phrase "or
other information" is derived from the
otherwise identical provision in present Art.
66 1/2, §3—603 as to transporters. It is
added here for purposes of uniformity.
The only other changes are in style.
As to the effect of a suspension or revocation
under this section, see §13-620 (c) of this
title.
13-707. SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF REGISTRATION OF
MOTOR CARRIER COMPANY.
IF THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION SUSPENDS OR REVOKES
A MOTOR CARRIER PERMIT GRANTED BY IT, THE ADMINISTRATION
SHALL SUSPEND OR REVOKE, AS THE CASE MAY BE, THE
REGISTRATION OF EACH VEHICLE FOR WHICH THE PERMIT WAS
GRANTED.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 78,
§34(f).
It is transferred to this article since it
imposes an obligation on the Administration,
and only peripherally relates to the Public
Service Commission.
13-708. OWNER TO RETURN EVIDENCES OF REGISTRATION ON
CANCELLATION, SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION.
