(3) THE REGISTRATION NUMBER ASSIGNED BY THE
ADMINISTRATION TO THE BICYCLE; AND
(4) A DESCRIPTION OF THE BICYCLE.
(E) EXPIRATION OF REGISTRATION.
(1) EACH BICYCLE REGISTRATION AND RENEWAL
EXPIRES AT THE END OF 3 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF ITS
ISSUANCE, UNLESS OTHERWISE CANCELLED CANCELED.
(2) IF A BICYCLE REGISTRATION IS NOT RENEWED
WITHIN 60 DAYS AFTER ITS EXPIRATION, THE ADMINISTRATION
MAY REMOVE THE RECORD OF REGISTRATION FROM ITS FILES.
(F) FEE.
THE FEE FOR EACH APPLICATION FOR AND EACH RENEWAL OF
A BICYCLE REGISTRATION IS $2. THE ADMINISTRATION MAY NOT
REFUND ANY PART OF THE FEE AS A RESULT OF CANCELLATION.
(G) REGISTRATION NUMBER.
EACH BICYCLE REGISTERED SHALL POSSESS OR BE
ASSIGNED BY THE ADMINISTRATION A REGISTRATION NUMBER,
WHICH SHALL BE AFFIXED TO THE BICYCLE IN THE MANNER
THAT THE ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-401.2.
In subsection (b) of this section, the word
"minor", which is defined in Art. 1, §24 of
the Code, is substituted for "an individual
under the age of 18 years" for brevity.
In subsection (d) of this section, the words
"and deliver" are added for clarity and to
conform to the similar provisions of §13—408
of this subtitle, relating to vehicles
generally.
In subsection (g) of this section, the term
"registration number" is substituted for
"unique identifying number" to conform to the
specifications of subsection (d)(3) of this
section.
The only other changes are in style.
