REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §3-413.
In subsection (a) of this section, the present
references to "forms obtained from" the
Administration and "conditions provided by"
the Administration are deleted as unnecessary
in light of §12-105 of this article.
In subsection (b)(1) of this section, the more
correct terms "before or after" and "accept"
are substituted for "prior to" and "receive",
respectively.
Subsection (b)(2)(iii) of this section is new,
added to reflect the special expiration of
Class E "dump service registration" in
accordance with §13-412(c) of this subtitle.
The only other changes are in style.
13-414. CHANGE OF ADDRESS OR NAME.
(A) CHANGE OF ADDRESS.
IF ANY PERSON WHO HAS APPLIED FOR OR OBTAINED THE
REGISTRATION OF A VEHICLE MOVES FROM THE ADDRESS GIVEN IN
THE APPLICATION OR SHOWN ON THE REGISTRATION CARD, THE
PERSON SHALL, WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE CHANGE, NOTIFY THE
ADMINISTRATION IN WRITING OF HIS FORMER ADDRESS AND NEW
ADDRESS.
(B) CHANGE OF NAME.
IF THE NAME OF ANY INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS APPLIED FOR
OR OBTAINED THE REGISTRATION OF A VEHICLE IS LATER
CHANGED BY MARRIAGE OR BY COURT ORDER, OR IF THE NAME OF
ANY OTHER PERSON WHO HAS APPLIED FOR OR OBTAINED THE
REGISTRATION OF A VEHICLE IS LATER CHANGED AS PROVIDED BY
LAW, THE PERSON SHALL, WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE CHANGE,
NOTIFY THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FORMER NAME AND THE NEW
NAME AND APPLY FOR A CORRECTED REGISTRATION CERTIFICATION
ON THE FORM THAT THE ADMINISTRATION REQUIRES. ON RECEIPT
OF THE APPLICATION, THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL ISSUE A
CORRECTED REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE WITHOUT CHARGE.

Subsection (b) has been revised to conform to
the like changes made in §13-118 of this title
as to the change of name of a person other
than an individual. See revisor's note to
that section.
